“Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone.” — Lisa Olivera

“A relationship with mutual respect and trust is a requirement for effective psychiatric care. I believe that being honest, transparent, and being “real” with my clients is the bedrock of this relationship, and approach care with this mindset. I’m non-judgmental, relaxed, and will always treat you with compassion and dignity. It’s a privilege to work in this field and I look forward to working with you and supporting you in your journey towards wellness.”

Meet the Provider:

Amanda Sullivan, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Amanda is a doctorally prepared, board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and has been working in mental health for over a decade. She has experience as a nurse practitioner in both the hospital and outpatient settings treating a wide range of mental health conditions, in addition to teaching experience with both nursing students and PMHNP students as an adjunct and later as an Assistant Professor.

Amanda’s approach to clinical practice is to provide evidence-based person-centered care. This means working together to develop a treatment plan that will work well for you. Lifestyle changes and therapeutic interventions are as much a part of treatment as medications, and exploring these together is an important part of your treatment.

Amanda received her Masters Degree in Nursing from Salem State University, and both her post-graduate degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Regis College.

In her free time you will find Amanda spending time with her family, rabbit, and Goldendoodle, listening to audio books, learning new recipes, and spending time outdoors.
